Class Trips & Residentials

At the heart of our philosophy is active learning both on and beyond the school site.  All children participate in one trip a term linked to their topic for the term and all our children have the opportunity to take part in a residential visit every year. We hope to inspire the children with our individualised, child-centred curriculum and we are confident that all our children love learning.

Below is an outline of the residential visits that each class will take part in, linked to the relevant topics.

In addition to these school-led residentials we also participate, as part of the Sandstone Cluster, in an Annual Creative Arts Weekend for Years 5, 6 & 7 and the Transition Residential for those children transferring to Tarporley High School.  Both of these residentials take place at the Conway Centre, Anglesey.

"This morning I found a fear, but now I don't have it anymore!" a child, after discovering his fear of heights during an outward bounds residential, and conquering it on the high ropes.

"It will be a treasured memory and we are all very grateful to the school. Thankyou!" a parent, following the experience.
