Years 3 and 4 Hockey Tournament Success

Lesson: Physical Development

Well done to the Years 3 and 4 hockey teams that took part in the small school’s competition at Deeside Ramblers on Thursday morning. Both the ‘A’ and the ‘B’ teams did incredibly well, with the ‘A’ team finishing as overall runners-up and the ‘B’ team finishing in 3rd place overall. After winning their group, following someone fantastic performances, the ‘A’ team lost narrowly to St Clare’s in the final. On the other hand, the ‘B’ team finished 2nd in their group and won the third placed play off again Eaton. Both Mrs Davies and Mrs Malyon were very proud of everyone that took part, particularly mentioning the effort and commitment that was on show. This has been a theme for children in these year groups over recent weeks, following on from their superb effort at the recent cross country at Tarporley High School.
