Infants Attend Wedding of The Year

Lesson: Religious education

Tuesday morning saw the children in the infants attend what can only be described as the wedding of the year! As part of their learning in religious studies, about the concepts of marriage and baptism, children had opportunity to visit St Helen’s Church and re-create both services. Led by Reverend Georgina, Oliver and Naomi staged a marriage, whilst the rest of the class performed important roles. Following this, children from Huxley staged a baptism, which everyone was able to watch. This was a fantastic experience for all of the children, helping bring learning to life. Please see our Facebook page for more photos and videos of the occasion.
