International Talk Like a Pirate Day

The children in Reception and in the Infants have had a fantastic day today dressing up as pirates for "International Talk Like a Pirate Day!" We have been solving pirate problems in maths, have made our own flags and eye patches and have, of course, been talking like pirates all day! The children have loved being Captain Chaloner's crew and acting like pirates throughout the day. Mrs Clark also made us a delicious pirate lunch, and as we found out when we read "Teatime for Pirates", we have to eat all our meals if we want to be big, strong pirates who go on adventures!
