Reception - 20th-24th June SOTW- Summer

Monday 20^th-Friday 24^th June 2016

This week our theme has been Euro 2016 Football Tournament. We used Google Earth to find where the different football games where taking place. Reception enjoyed looking at all the different football kits and designed their own using their favourite colours. We also had our own football match using addition on bead strings to move our players towards the goal. After thinking about what football players need to eat to be healthy, we discussed what our favourite sports are and wrote about this.

Next week our theme will be Minibeasts.

Star of the Week

This week’s Star of the Week is Summer. Summer used beautiful cursive handwriting and presentation to write about her favourite sport.
