Saying Goodbye to Members of Our School

It is at this time every year that we have to say goodbye to members of our school community. Our Year 6 children, who have worked tirelessly this year, will be transitioning to their various high schools. Ollie Patten, Ethan Ashworth, Louis Merrick, Jodie Johnson and Jamie Johnson have been with us since the very beginning of their school life whilst Ted Jones, Shiv Patel and James Wrather have only joined us over recent times. As class teacher, I am confident that all of them have the necessary academic and personal skills to go on and succeed at high school. I wish them the very best and hope to see them again in the future. Can I say thank you to the Patten and Ashworth families, who will be ending their association with the school, for all they have done to support us as well as their children.

It is also a time to say goodbye to two members of staff – Mrs Douthwaite and Mrs Killilea. Both have worked with us for a considerable amount of time, supporting children across the school in many different ways. We wish them the very best for their futures and hope to see them again soon.

We look forward to welcoming new families into our community in September, through our Reception class.
