Years 1 and 2 join the 'Nativity on the Move'

Years 1 and 2 had a fantastic morning at Chester Cathedral on Thursday. They were met by a Roman soldier and followed Mary and Joseph as they looked for an inn. The children found some shepherds in a field and saw an angel appear. They heard Herod trying to trick the Magi and helped them to follow the star to a stable, where they found baby Jesus lying in a manger. The children explored the cathedral, visited the tree festival and also decorated their own tree decoration. Finally, they lit a candle and said a prayer. What a busy morning!
