Years 3/4 Make a Visit to Hargrave Church

Years 3 and 4 visited Hargrave Church, alongside our partners Huxley, this week as part of their learning around the topic of Christianity. Whilst at the church, children had opportunity to experience different aspects of church life. This included recreating a Christening, ringing the church bell, dressing up as a vicar and learning about the different members of the clergy and their roles. The children were very well behaved and the experience helped bring their learning to life – a key aspect of our curriculum approach.
