Years 5 and 6 Athletics Success

Lesson: Physical education

Well done to the Years 5 and 6 Athletics team who took part in competition at Tarporley High School on Thursday evening. On what was a very warm evening, the team produced a fantastic level of performance. There were multiple medallists in the girl’s squad. The relay team finished 3^rd overall, whilst Nina won the discus. Eva finished 2^nd in the sprint, Evie finished 3^rd in the 200 metres and Bethany finished 3^rd in the long jump. In the boy’s squad, Harry won the shot put and Tyler, despite only being a Year 4, finished 2^nd overall in the sprint race! Prospects are certainly looking good for the upcoming Deanery Sports on Monday July 10^th.
