Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
St Paul's CE Primary School is an inclusive school that promotes achievement for all through our core Christian values. At St Paul's, we adopt a holistic approach to our provision for children with SEND and all staff work together to ensure inclusive practice for all. We are committed to encouraging and enabling all children to achieve their full potential and fulfil their educational outcomes.
Our Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) is Mrs Page.
Mrs Page started her career working as a Teaching Assistant within a specialised setting for children with SEND and this is what ignited her passion for inclusive practice. During this time, Mrs Page trained to become a Teacher and has now been teaching for over 11 years.
Here is a little message from Mrs Page:
"I feel extremely blessed to be the SENDCo here at St Paul’s and work alongside all the amazing and inspirational children, families and staff. It is my mission to work collaboratively with children, parents and professionals to make sure all children have their individual needs met and most importantly, feel happy and safe at school. I also enjoy my work as a Specialist Teacher for another school - it is really important to me that I continue to support children directly, not only because it is what I enjoy most, but it ensures I remain up-to-date with my knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning.
To help you to get to know me a little more, I asked our children to create some questions for me to answer! You can have a read below.
If there is anything else you would like to chat to me about, please do get in touch. I look forward to meeting you!"
