Infant Trip to the Fire Station

The children enjoyed their trip to the fire station today. We were really lucky and were able to look at all the different compartments of a fire engine, find out all about the equipment that firefighters use and look at the special outfits that fire fighters wear. All the children enjoyed sitting in the fire engine, finding out about the job of a fire fighter and also got to squirt the hose at the school mini bus! They loved hearing the bell on the old fire engine and comparing it to the siren on the new engine. Many children decided that they want to be a fire fighter when they grow up!
