Pirate ships

Lesson: Design and technology

The children in the Infants have been learning about materials in Science. They were able to use and apply their knowledge from this to DT as they have designed their own pirate ships. The children thought about what the design criteria would be and decided that their pirate ships needed to float, be waterproof and be strong enough to hold 10 lego men! We tested them this afternoon and it was a great success with most of the ships meeting the design criteria! Well done, Infants!
