Monday 27^th June- Friday 1^st July 2016

This week our theme has been ‘Mad about Minibeasts’. In literacy we have been finding minibeasts, writing labels and researching their habitats. We have been focusing on learning about spiders and wrote questions such as ‘How do they make their webs?’ and ‘What do they eat?’ to research using the iPads. In literacy we have been doubling using ladybird spots.

Star of the Week

This week’s Star of the Week is Mallory. Mallory has been enjoying practising his handwriting even asking for more work. He has used the enthusiasm in his writing of fantastic questions and researching the answers using the iPad

Next week we will be learning about Caterpillars and reading ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle.
