Year 3 and 4 Athletics Success

Well done to the Year 3 and 4 children that attended the Tarporley High School Athletics Competition yesterday afternoon. Competing across a range of track and field events, the children took part with great enthusiasm and returned with some fantastic results. Across the afternoon, the children all came home with at least one medal each, having finished in the top 3 of the event they were taking part in. Willis Kirk-Roe took gold in the discus whilst Ava Hardstaff won the long jump. However, performance of the day went to the girls relay team who, despite dropping the baton, still powered through to take gold. This was the last sporting event at Tarporley High School this year. We look forward to competing across all the competitions again during the next academic year.
