Years 3 and 4 Enjoy Snowdon Residential

From Wednesday to Friday this week, children in Years 3 and 4 enjoyed a residential trip to Snowdonia as part of their topic on mountains. During the 3 days, children took part in a range of activities. Based in the heart of Snowdonia, at YHA Bryn Gwynant, children took a tour of Electric Mountain and enjoyed a deep mine experience, followed by an exploration of a quarry. A visit to Bounce Below was a particular highlight, where children were able to roll, jump, slide and bounce from net to net in a cavern the size of a cathedral! Unfortunately the rain prevented the trip up Snowdon on the final day, however a good time was still had by all.
