Years 3 and 4 Enjoy York Residential Experience

Miss Jones’s Class joined up with Mr Townsend’s Class from Huxley this week for an exciting three day residential visit to York, where they took part in a tour of the impressive York Minster, an evening walk around York City Centre and a range of Viking themed events: Jorvik Viking Centre, DIG, the Viking Festival and a workshop at York Castle Museum. We have been impressed by not only the children’s behaviour but their resilience, willingness to take part in new experiences and how well they have got on with each other.
