Years 5 and 6 Enjoy Hillfort Experience

On Monday of this week, Years 5 and 6 children had a day out as part of their topic on the Stone Age/Iron Age period. During the morning they climbed Eddisbury Hillfort and enjoyed investigating the site – discovering the features of the hillfort and creating maps of the location. Following this, they travelled over to Maiden Castle and experienced a storytelling afternoon with local performer Jake Evans. A great day out was had by everyone and the experience helped bring their learning to life.
