Years 5 and 6 Enjoy Hindu Temple Visit

On Thursday, children in Years 5 and 6 visited the Gita Bhaven Hindu Temple in Manchester as part of their learning about the Hindu faith. Whilst at the temple, children were given a guided tour and a comprehensive talk. They learnt about the history of the faith, the key values and beliefs, the Hindu Gods and the aspects of worship. The children were very respectful and asked some insightful questions. This trip continued with our vision of providing children with experiences of different cultures and religions to build their understanding and acceptance.
