Years 5 and 6 Enjoy Zoo Visit

On a very chilly Monday, Years 5 and 6 visited Chester Zoo as part of their learning around the topic of rainforests, alongside our partners from Huxley Primary School. Although not particularly tropical conditions, children were able to view and learn about lots of the animals that live within the rainforest. Additionally, they took part in a rainforest workshop, led by the zoo, which allowed them to learn about the importance of protecting the rainforests from deforestation. Children enjoyed the experiences and everyone was very well behaved and therefore were a credit to the school.
