Years 5 and 6 Stone Age Workshop

On Wednesday morning, children in Years 5 and 6 took part in a Stone Age/Iron Age workshop, led by specialist Chris Trevor, at Huxley Primary School. During the morning, children took part in a range of themed activities. Children met a Stone Age character and discussed what they wore and some of their tools, investigated how hunters would use their weapons to hunt wild animals, sampled various period artefacts and placed them into chronological order, using enquiry skills.
