Musical Art

This week we listened to a range of music related to our topic "Making Waves", such as "Aquarium" taken from Vivaldi's Carnival of the Animals and "Calm Sea" by Mendelssohn. The children really enjoyed concentrating on the tunes, the instruments and also the emotions that the music made them feel.  They then responded to the music using artwork, drawing the images that sprung to mind while listening to the music.
