Year 5 and 6 Cross Country Success

Lesson: Physical education

Well done to the Year 5/6 Cross Country team, who took part in the competition at Tarporley High School on Thursday evening. On what was a very muddy course, all of the children ran superbly. Evie Jones finished a very close second in the Year 5 girls race – achieving our first medal at this age range for a couple of years. Eva Kyle finished 13th and was very proud of her effort, whilst Abi Langley finished 15th. Emre Uzum was the lone runner in Year 5 and finished an excellent 23rd, whilst Bethany Lunt finished 11th as the lone girl in Year 6. Luis Waterhouse and Joe Waterhouse finished 11th and 17th respectively in their race.

Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council have the original photographs which have been displayed over the final half term until they can be transferred to the records office or back to school.
