Years 5 and 6 Athletics Success

Lesson: Physical education

                                

Well done to the Years 5 and 6 Athletics team who took part in competition at Tarporley High School on Thursday evening. On what was a very warm evening, the team produced a fantastic level of performance. There were multiple medallists in the girl’s squad. The relay team finished 3rd overall, whilst Nina won the discus. Eva finished 2nd in the sprint, Evie finished 3rd in the 200 metres and Bethany finished 3rd in the long jump. In the boy’s squad, Harry won the shot put and Tyler, despite only being a Year 4, finished 2nd overall in the sprint race! Prospects are certainly looking good for the upcoming Deanery Sports on Monday July 10th.

Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council have the original photographs which have been displayed over the final half term until they can be transferred to the records office or back to school.
